Health Reinsurance Association (HRA) - Makes available to eligible individuals in Connecticut a comprehensive health care plan designed to help meet medical costs of non-occupational injuries and diseases.
Health Care for Unisured Kids and Youth (HUSKY) – Health insurance package for children and teenagers up to age 19, regardless of family income. HUSKY pays for doctor visits, prescriptions, vision and dental care, and much more.
Connecticut Program for Health Insurance Assistance Outreach, Information, Counseling, & Eligibility Screening (CHOICES) – A resource center created by the Center for Medicare Advocacy, Inc. for CHOICES volunteers and community partners.
Connecticut Medicaid – Medicaid is a state/federal program that pays for medical and long-term care services for low-income pregnant women, children, certain people on Medicare, disabled individuals and nursing home residents. These individuals must meet certain income and other requirements.
